I really appreciate the location of this hotel. Additionally, it is always clean and quiet with friendly staff. They serve a good breakfast as well. If you need to stay on the south side of Birmingham, you'll not be disappointed with your stay here.

The Residence Inn on John Hawkins in Hoover is our home away from home. The staff, rooms and service is impeccable. My family and I are in Alabama every weekend and this is the only hotel we book. Management and reservation staff are an asset to the Marriott organization. Thank you for making us feel more than welcome. The Buggs family.

Everything you could ask for, this place is the perfect balance - friendly, upscale, accommodative - if you want to stay on the better side of Birmingham this is the location. The fire pit, outdoor grills, and the feeling of family between employees and guest will make you want to stay. The lord blessed us with this location, and many friends made while staying. The staff was over the top accommodating, and our front desk manager (if shes not she should be) Quetta was the pure example of kindness and professionalism wrapped into one. This is one of the FEW LOCATIONS we prefer to an Airbnb. Even the staff for breakfast in the morning mid chaos is calm, collected, clean and organized. Hats off to this gem, we will be back! To all our friends we met, the meals shared, the kiddos ours played with, the cleanliness, the structure, we start a slow clap for you ! Marriott if you dont recognize this location, you ought to! 3 words - inclusive, exemplary, inviting. Come put your feet up, you wont be disappointed. Food & drinks: Everything delivers! Dont even have to walk!
