USA Storage Centers - Madison

We had this unit about 2 yrs and it was always clean and secure. The manager was very helpful and there was a $10 increase in rental only 1 time.

You know I have to say just to rent a storage unit, This is by far the worst experience I have ever had, I have never been given the runaround for a storage unit a day in my life, I rented a storage unit 4 days ago, The very first day I went to check out the unit before I moved in after paying for it the unit was complently flooded before I even moved my things in, I never received the phone call back from the headquarters like they told me, I ended up making five phone calls within two days just to be moved to a different unit, the next issue is, I never received my gate code, when I did receive a call regarding my gate code There was an issue with my gate code being the wrong phone number, so I was temp codes. so I got locked out of the gate, Iv made a total of 15 phone calls before I even moved into the unit for simple things like a gate code! I loaded up my moving truck & was denied access to the gate, the temporary codes didnt even work, right now, as I am writing this review, I rented another truck full of stuff to take to my storage unit and a temporary code that I was given doesnt work, Ive wasted so much money, extending moving trucks and extra expenses because the storage facility lack of communication and customer service is awful. I most defiantly will be transferring from this storage facility after everything is said & done. I chose this facility because it was only 3 minutes from where I moved but closer isnt always better! LESSON LEARNED! wasted money because of them. So Iv wasted another moving night and money. No gate access, horrible communication, customer service a 0. I DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE.

Everything is great until you need to speak with someone. Ive been waiting 17 days for a return call. 4 calls to USA Storage requesting a return call and 3 trips to the office. Great place to store items until you need some assistance. I will be moving my belongings to different company/location.
