Fraud.... DO NOT PURCHASE ITEMS THAT SAY MADE IN ALASKA..... they are not made in alaska and they do NOT have knifes made with sea cow bones. They lie to make money. There items are not what they say they are and DEFINITELY NOT Made in alaska. Please visit some of out honest local shops. B. Merry Studio is not honest and only cares about making money even at the expense of out of state visitors. They are currently being sued by the State of Alaska for this. And DNA tests have been done on the bones they claim are the extinct sea cows and they are just normal whale bone. And it's not just what I've read, its personal experience ;)

I don't know what the one star reviewer smoked or drank before he wrote that review, but that dude is off his rocker. My husband & I took a trip to Alaska back in the summer of 2001. We saw smaller carvings of Bob Merry's at a local tourist trap. We saw the name of the artist & thought it was so cool - My husband's name is Bob, mine is Mary. When we saw Bob Merry's number, we decided to call to see if we could buy directly from him & maybe get a custom piece. Not only did he welcome us to come to his house, he allowed us to pick whatever antler we wanted. He had stacks & stacks of antlers to choose from. I mean, these were authentic & genuine moose antlers, deer, ram horns, etc. We felt like we won the lottery. He did an amazing eagle carving & shipped it to us. We've had it displayed ever since. This guy is a top notch artist. Plus, a good guy with an amazing heart. We have had nothing but wonderful things to say about him to everyone thats admired our antler carving. I was just looking up on Google to see if he was still around because my husband & I are now planning a trip to Alaska with our kids. And we'd love to have our kids see him do his work in action. It was incredible. I'd love for them to see him do his work. I will be sure to post pics soon. I have to dig out my old photos from 22 years ago. But, buy with confidence. Bob Merry is the real deal. And please know, I've gotten NO bonus or perks for writing this review. I met Bob Merry one time more than 20 years ago & haven't been in touch since. This is an honest review from my heart.
