This is one of the most unique, quaint, and charming hotels I've stayed at in my lifetime. Staff is very friendly and it was very interesting to hear their stories about the place, the history and the area. I will not forget this place.

Rooms are alright, although they don't have locks on the doors. Our sink didn't work properly either, as the water wasn't leaving unless you manually lifted the stopper. The bathrooms and showers were normal. The breakfast wasn't too good, but nothing to complain about. There is a free shuttle (van) going to and from the bridge (where you have to leave your car) twice an hour, and to the glacier once an hour, which is really convenient. Nearby activities: The copper mine and the glacier are the main attractions. There are a couple good hiking trails going away from the mine, and a tour that lets you see the mine interior. Walkability: The building is about 0.5 miles away from the footbridge where the parking is. You cna walk or take the shuttle. Noteworthy details: You can rent e-bikes at the parking, although we didn't find the person who runs the place when we came there at 4 pm.
