We arrived after a long day and saw the light on inside the cabin which was such a welcome sight. Rob and Vanessa you guys put together a perfect cabin. From the fire ring to the washer and dryer there wasn't anything that was missing in order for us to have a very pleasant stay. The setting of the cabin gives you the feeling of being truly out in the woods. We would recommend this place to any and all who are planning a trip to Alaska. Thanks again for being such great and attentive hosts. Mark & Marsha Vesta

We have stayed in the one bedroom two times now. Both times we have enjoyed our stay. The cottage is set up perfectly and very clean. It is in a very quiet and peaceful location. The owners Vanessa and Rob are great. We will stay again. We highly recommend it.

Magical little cottage in the woods was what I was wishing for and it's exactly what I got. Smelled brand new, beautifully decorated, all amenities were provided and completely charming. The porch views and fire pit made for great entertainment. Can't wait for my next visit!!!

This was the third time I stayed in one of Rob's and Vanessa's cottages in Palmer. The cottage is just the perfect size for me as a solo traveler. Like the other, cottage, this one is decorated with a lot of attention for details. Vanessa certainly knows what is needed. Everything is available for a pleasant stay, a well equipped kitchen, a clean bathroom stocked with all the essentials one needs. The bedroom is nicely decorated with a bed big enough to sleep two very comfortably. Just to provide you with a very brief description of the floor plan: you enter the cottage into the combined kitchen living area. The kitchen faces the entrance door. The kitchen is equipped with all one would need. No dishwasher, but who needs one. A nice sofa, coffee table and TV invite you to relax and unwind. A nice gas fireplace is not only there to keep you warm it provides a bit of a romantic flair. For more flair you would have bring your personal polar bear fur A corridor connects the living area with the bedroom and the bathroom which is to right. The bathroom features a shower and a vanity with a mirror large enough for what ever is needed, brushing your teeth, shaving or taking care of your hairstyle. For those of you who might be concerned about heating in the long and at times fierce Alaska winters, it was always cozy and one will not have to fear to have to stay in a cold little cabin. I stayed in February and March, both month are considered winter. On top of all, Rob and Vanessa are very caring hosts. In short and to wrap it up; for me it's the place to stay whenever I am in Palmer. Can I put it in a short version? Yes, its simple: I am loving it!
