Amy was referred to me by a good friend, who just moved up on the friend ladder, as Amy knocked my case out of the ball park! I couldn't be happier with how Amy handled my divorce, always keeping me in the loop. The original consultation was all about fact gathering and her sharing her knowledge of the new divorce bi-laws that were going to (most likely) work in my favor- and she was spot-on! Throughout the process, which took less than a year, Amy and Erica, her amazing para-legal were in constant communication with me, and so patient when I would overlook an important document to read and/or sign. When the mediation finally came to fruition, Amy was so savvy, so prepared , so professional; she had spreadsheets and data ready to go with a well-thought out plan of action she thought was best for us to follow. She made me feel so comfortable and put me at ease with the plan, as I was quite nervous. In the end, I was MORE than happy with the outcome of the divorce. I hope I never have to hire a divorce lawyer in the future, but if I do, it will be hands down, Amy Dohrendorf!

Amy Dohrendorf was recommended to me during the early part of my divorce. I realized I shouldn't try to handle things myself, and Amy and her paralegal Erica made a very painful process so much better. They are both extremely professional but also have a human touch. They were confident and patient when I couldn't be, and they reassured me when I needed it. I highly recommend their services.

I can not say enough positive adjectives to describe my time with Amy Dohrendorf. Her expertise was immeasurably helpful. But more importantly, her humanity meant everything. Divorce is trying by itself, let alone dealing with a life-threatening bacterial infection, hospitalization and then the horrific loss of a parent. Through all of these experiences, Amy was a rock. She handled my case with care and concern while always keeping me looking forward to better days. Amy was more than just a lawyer on my case. Amy was and is a mentor who navigated every aspect of my situation while allowing my voice and wants to be heard. I simply can not thank her enough for the stability she provided during such a crucial period of turmoil.
