Our family recently inherited a significant coin collection, and we wished to divest. After reviewing several competing websites and making initial calls, we chose to work with Dave Platteter at American Precious Metals. They have a calm, no-pressure, professional office, and the entire staff was welcoming and courteous. Dave is clearly an expert in coins of many 'flavors.' He was patient and calm in explaining the valuation and sometimes the history of the coins we held. We received a significantly higher value than we expected, and we were paid on the spot. The firm exceeded our expectations, and we strongly recommend their services. Would definitely work with them again.
