Thank you Mr. Kanu and Staff for excellent work you have done. You have imparted wisdom and knowledge from the time Mr. Daka and I have met you. You and your staff have shown us much love, kindness, patience, and took time to make sure we understand the process. What quick work you have completed by Gods grace. May God bless you all more than abundantly.

I express my most sincere thanks for the professional representation rendered to us. Mr Kanu and his entire staff have stuck by us throughout in dealing with this very stressful case. I admire your composure, work ethic and most of all excellent representation. Emphasizing qualities such as listening ability, humility, that my husband nick-named Mr Kanu our therapist. Because we would go to his office for therapy sessions all in the name of things will be fine he always said. And am also grateful that i got a chance to read his book called , THE IMMIGRANTS MANUAL FOR SUCCESS IN AMERICA. The more I read this book, the more things I got to know about America and the Law, the more I learnt , and also the more I would relate. And the most interesting phrase for me was were it says in his book , there is a PRICE to a PRIZE that was powerful and in our case the price we paid was patience. We waited patiently. To be honest I thank God the most high for accessible Lawyers , some lawyers you be talking to the staff until its the Lawyers time to appear in court thats when u will meet them. My previous Lawyer we never saw her until the day we were taking the case away from her that we met with her, that was so sad, but with Kanu & associates we would see the Lawyer easily by booking an appointment. I applaud you Mr Kanu and your entire staff for your excellent work, I am forever grateful for this opportunity to work with me, I greatly appreciate your time and your valuable advice.

Working with Kanu and Associates has truly been a life changing experience. I was at the lowest point in my life and thought I would lose the opportunity to help to raise my two daughters. I was a green card holder since 2002 when I entered the US at age 20. Misguided and hanging with the wrong crowd, I was charge with multiple felony drug possession in 2006 and 2009. This is less than 5 years of being in the country which made me eligible to be placed in deportation proceedings if I was convicted. By 2012 I was convicted with two felony drug solicitation charges. These were marijuana possession, a class 6 felony and sentence to one year probation. This immediately meant that I was placed into an immigration hold and was scheduled to have my green card revoked and be deported. I hired another immigration law firm and that after working with them for four years informed that the Republicans presidential victor would cause them to have a difficult task of clearing my deportation status. I immediately thought of seeking another opinion as none of what they were saying was an option for me at that time. I went on the internet to search for immigration law and found Kanu and Associates and from the first time I walked through his door and spoke to Salomon Kanu I felt that I was in the right place at the right time. Mr. Kanu assured me that while no case is guaranteed he has a plan of action that would give me a strong fighting chance at overturning the deportation filing. Mr. Kanu looked at all aspects of my case, from the criminal background, family dynamics, and immigration status to formulate a comprehensive plan of action that best suited my situation. Mr. Kanu has experience in both criminal and immigration cases and understands how one affects the other. Mr. Kanu was able to lengthen the proceedings that would allow for more time for my criminal records to be less significant to the immigration process. Knowing my family history of having a US citizen wife and two daughters born in America, Mr. Kanu filed for my green card through my wife. At my deportation hearing because I had violated the terms of my green card by committing a crime within the first five years of being in the country, I was eligible for deportation, but Mr. Kanu was able to argue that I have been rehabilitated and have made positive progress in my life since I been convicted. He asked the court to pardon my past transgressions and reinstate my green card status through my wifes petition. Even with objections from the government lawyers and the argument that they have Reason to Believe I was a drug dealer, Mr. Kanu was able to show that was not the case and I was granted my green card on April 1st, 2021. Mr. Kanu and his team have been nothing but supportive and are always available to assure me and my wife that we are doing the right thing. The process was long and sometimes stressful, but it was all worth the fight to be able to be with my wife and kids. Having someone with the vast experience of Kanu and Associates can make a big difference in the outcome of your case. Kanu and Associates stood by me and my family in our lowest point in life and through their professional services and hard work my family will be together. Two years after receiving my green card Kanu and Associates called to inform me that it was time to apply for my citizenship. Mr. Kanu and his team helped to file my citizenship papers. Mr. Salomon Kanu accompanied me to the citizenship interview and guided me throughout the process. It is with great pleasure and the humblest of gratitude that I must say as of January 4, 2024, I am now a United States citizen. Thanks for everything that Kanu and Associates have done for me and my family and to them I will be forever grateful. Keep up the amazing work you are doing and for all your efforts my family will forever be indebted.
