The Burgundy Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

We had an unforgettable experience at this property. We have stayed at hotels all over the world and all high end properties. We booked the best room which was a suite. The first night we had a fire in our room caused by a short in the wire of the lamp. There were flames and the smell of electrical smoke. The Fire Department was there within minutes and found the issue. We were moved to a downgraded room as no comparable suites were available. We felt the hotel should have compensated us for the first night and adjusted our rate for the remaining nights, but they would not. We do not recommend this property because of that reason. If we had been asleep we could have died. I have had nightmares about fires since this happened.

WARNING!!! DO NOT BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS! This hotel doesn't look like it's been updated since the early 80's. There's a nasty musty smell throughout the entire hotel. On the same night we checked into our room we had a fire caused by an electrical short in which the Little Rock fire department arrived to investigate and determined the fire was caused by faulty wiring... After which because no comparable rooms was available we were downgraded to a smaller room. The incompetent manager of the hotel, her name is Ashley refused to credit us a for the cost of the downgrade. We feel like we got ripped off and our money we paid for to stay here stolen from us. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!

Can't ask for more from a hotel. Rooms: The rooms are very spacious and suite like. I love it. Food & drinks: The chef was amazing. Valentine's night 3 courses meal was on top of the roof. Fire
