image Do not stay at this hotel. Several items were stolen from me while staying here. There are plenty of nicer and honest hotels in the area.

image Great location to the gas lamp district. Definitely within stumbling distance to the night life. Its a safe area and we had a great time. The tv options were pretty laid but the bar was nice. The rooftop bar was closed for construction.
Walkability: Great location to the bar district and night life. We were worried about how safe it would be but it was safe and fine.

image Would've left a much higher rating, but after paying $700 for two nights at this hotel, I found a $66 charge on my credit card and was told when I called to inquire about it that it was the "amenities resort fee." Apparently, when the woman at the front desk said "your reservation comes with a $15 credit to use at the bar, restaurant, or snack shop and free coffee, water, and tea," what she really meant was that I would be charged ANOTHER $66. Most expensive glass of prosecco and kit kat bar ever.
The hotel itself is just ok. You're really paying for the location.
The gym had only a couple of treadmills, a broken peloton, one cable machine, and some free weights... it was SUPER awkward working out with just one other guest in there.
When I approached the bar, a staff member was sitting in a chair at the bar on her phone, looked right at me, and then walked to the back. After waiting for about ten min, I asked another employee if the bar was open and she went and got that staff member who then complained that someone was running late to her and then to me.
The walls were thin so I could gear all the noises in the hallway and next door. My thermostat didn't work so the heat wouldn't kick on but it was late and I was tired and I really didn't want to deal with it since so far, none of the staff except for the woman I checked in with had anything more than sub par customer service skills.
My vent also kept making an obnoxious noise the first night, which I recorded and meant to bring to the front desk the next day but ran out of time. The next night it had stopped so let it go.
The room itself was spacious. The tv was not a smart tv, so pretty useless unless you're going to be sitting in your hotel room when what you qabtobg watch will be on - which given that you just paid $300+ for the location, it's pretty safe to assume you won't be.
All in all, I absolutely regret attempting to "treat myself" after 9 days of road-tripping through national parks. The shower had hot water, but I certainly could've gotten that anywhere.
