We have worked with Troy for several first mortgages and then refinances because his rates are the best and they are so easy to work with!I was very impressed with how quickly and smoothly our application process went with 5280 Financial Group. Being self employed as an S corporation, underwriters typically cannot understand my income since it is not reported on a W-2 or 1099. 5280's underwriter knew exactly what they needed and approved us very quickly. Once I found 5280 and talked to Troy over the phone, I abandoned a refi with another company whose underwriter just kept asking for more and more income documentation. Troy is very friendly and kept me very well informed throughout the process. I highly recommend them for any of your mortgage needs!

These folks are amazing. We worked directly with Troy and given our unpleasant experience with a different firm, we were initially adamant about the whole process. However, Troy was amazing in regards to communicating every detail/step and explained every document and spent hours over phone/text/email to answer all the questions I had as a first time home buyer. He offered us a really good rate with very low loan initiation so I think you wont be able to find a better deal. He also didnt abandon us after giving us the first disclosure and still kept in touch till closing and even after to provide us with regular updates and answer any questions that we had. We would defintely work with he and his firm again. Aside from all of this, he has a really warm personality and all the conversations were joyful. Do yourself a favor and hire them so your home buying process becomes a fun project rather than a dreadful transaction.
