        If you are beginning your home refresh, start at Floor & Decor. You will learn what you like, what you don't, what you can afford, what you need to avoid due to cost. The staff are quite attentive and they have a terrific sense of humor.

        We purchased some wood flooring for a project about 2 months ago. This was stained wood that varies in color so we asked the associate if we could pick and choose the color we wanted and return the unused planks in the opened boxes. We were told this was fine. It was also a discontinued item that we were told we'd not be able to get more once they ran out, so we bought them all thinking we could return the unused ones. Just tried returning the unused, perfectly good wood we didn't use and told we couldn't. So now we're sitting on a few thousand dollars of extra flooring we have no use for, which we wouldn't have purchased it we knew we couldn't return them (like we were TOLD we could). They got their sale at least, who cares about the family that just throws away a few thousand dollars?
