Terribly underwhelmed. I booked a cruise for a party of 16 people for my partner's 30th birthday surprise party. We actually had a cruise booked the year prior but had to cancel due to Covid and were really excited to make it happen. While our boat staff was friendly, this was not a truly "hosted" experience to say the least. The expense of this 90-minute byob experience (over $1000 with tip) was absurd. 1. My reservation was for 16 guests. The boat only had seating for 10 at the table where you could cycle. Others had to stand or sit in the back of the boat away from the main group. This was not disclosed at the time of booking. 2. We were not given an option to cycle during the ride- this was not reviewed or discussed with us...I appreciate the boat is motorized of course but there was no option given and this was a large reason I made the booking. 2. In advance of the party, I made sure to abide by the byob policy and my group brought a cooler of wine to share. When I asked if we were able to begin opening the bottles, I was told the boat had no bottle opener or corkscrew onboard. When I asked for cups, he first pointed towards a storage compartment until he walked over to get the cups and handed a stack to me to disperse myself. This is advertised as a "sip and cycle" event so I was surprised to say the least. Since we were still waiting to leave the dock, the crew assistant suggested that I could leave the boat to go to one of the local restaurants that I was not patronizing to request for a bottle opener. Only after our group started trying to open corks with a set of car keys did he offer to go find an opener for us. 3. The pit stop advertised in the ride indicated that we would have the opportunity to stop at a restaurant where we could purchase drinks, since the boat ride only permitted beer and wine, and for a bathroom break. After the ride began, we were informed the restaurant we were being taken to closed at 7:00 pm. Our boat ride began at 8:45 pm. 4. I requested a refund for one of my guests when my party count reduced to fifteen and did not receive a response from the company.

Amazing experience- 10/10 would recommend! Theres really nothing else like this in DC and theres no better way to get a tour of the city. Fun for anybody, whether youre just visiting or live here, its a blast for anyone. Our company has done several company outings with the Paddle Club and plan on doing more next season!

Came here to celebrate a birthday, great atmosphere and good drinks. The crew is super friendly and helpful. The views are great!
