I should've took heed with the first red flag. During our initial discussions, Ariel Solomon was offended about a supposed email she sent me. I advised her I didn't know what email she was referring to. She sent it to the wrong email that was not mine.Despite that, I hired them and paid the hefty $10 (k) retainer. They also messed up the information for my EEOC filing to the judge. When I brought it to their attention, they flippantly advised that they rarely miss things like that and blamed it on a technical issue by the EEOC portal. But the paperwork information was incorrect. The paperwork had already been submitted for weeks before I caught the error. If they had sent a copy to me when they filed the paperwork--which is standard, I would've caught it sooner; as the client that wasn't my job. Dealing with this firm added stress and anxiety to already stressful situation.Ariel is super rude and brass in general. She decided to drop my case claiming that the amount she would charge to pursue my case would've been unethical. She told me that I had a good case initially and then abruptly said I should represent myself.Despite her initially telling me that I shouldn't go through the agency for a decision on my case-- which would've meant representing myself. How can someone who is supposed to be concerned about ethics give such unethical advice? She was well aware that if I had gone that route, I would've lost my case. She initially advised in the beginning that representing myself in such a case would result in losing the case. I asked her firm to stay on the case despite the cost as I had no issues paying her. I think something else was at play rather than the reason she gave. If she was so concerned about my costs, she could've lowered her $475-$894 rates and reclaimed the charges back when I won my case. They also waited to the very last min to communicate. I would have to reach out consistently asking for updates. There was a time where I was not cc'd on an important email regarding my case and when I asked for an update, the response was "I thought you were cc'd on the emails" How did you think that? Can I cc myself if you're the only ones getting the updates for my case? Also, when they received the documents from the judge whereby the merits of my case were quoted incorrectly by the judge, I immediately emailed Ariel and her staff to inform her that they needed to ask the judge to make the correction. Instead of notifying the judge, she sent an email to the opposing counsel to fix the error instead of the judge. My new lawyer had to bring it to the judge's attention--which he should not have had to do. Incompetency at its finest. Also one time, they went pass the deadline they advised me of to reach out to me for an upcoming hearing for my case. Again, unnecessary stress during an already difficult and stressful time. Also, this firm did not ever advise me that I could've skipped EEO administrative litigation/trial process all together and just filed a civil suit in federal court. Mind you, they had time to tell me how awful the EEO judge was and trash her by stating she was difficult and temperamental. So if you knew that from the jump why not advise me of all of my viable options? They also refused to give me my client folder upon dissolving the relationship. My new lawyer had to start from scratch with reviewing the thousands of documents in my case that I had already paid this firm to review. The best I can say about this firm is that they refunded a portion of my retainer at the end of our contract. Hiring this firm was huge waste of time, money, and caused me emotional turmoil. Fortunately, It was a blessing in disguise that she bowed out anyway, the lawyer that took my case did a far better and stellar job and for less the costs of this firm--like less than half the cost. My new lawyer was literally answered prayer. If you're in the market for a winning, stellar, thorough, and honest EEOC/ Federal employment attorney, Snider & Associates, LLC is your best bet. Dan was my attorney and he was great! He explained the process of the lawsuit and for every step of the process he advised me what could/would happen next. The whole team is wonderful, I understand its their job but Gina and Alyssa were great at keeping up contact as well. There was a long delay due to the government shutdown and Gina reached out to let me know that as soon as they heard anything they would let me know. I recommend Solomon Law Firm completely.

Ariel and her team were the most professional and helpful throughout my case. Even though I was located in Asia, Ariel made herself available to communicate at all hours. Not only was she able to defend me, her empathetic and caring nature brought emotional support to me during the whole process. She truly cares about her clients and will fight for you. Thank you Ariel!

Ariel Solomon is one of the most badass attorneys I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. As someone who has interfaced with tens of thousands of attorneys I can say with absolute certainty that Ariel is a special breed of legal counsel. Not only is her reach and rolodex of contacts to support her clients unbound, but she is one of the handful of attorneys who really cares about her clients. Though she is often extremely busy she always seems to make time for those in need. I highly recommend anyone looking for a federal employment attorney to work with Ariel and the Solomon Law Firm. Ariel's work has literally resulted in a 4-star general having no choice but to resign... anyone facing retaliation in the workplace, sexual harassment, discrimination, or anything related would be wise to call Ariel's firm first.
