Broad Futures changed my daughters life. The success she had in her real-world paid internship gave her the confidence to apply to her dream college and the resume to get in. Thank you Broad Futures.

I began my journey as an intern with BroadFutures last summer. It has changed my life! Before starting I had little to no work experience. This past summer I worked at a prestigious organization, worked with incredible BroadFutures mentors, gained confidence, made great friends...the list goes on! Often people who learn differently are overlooked but BroadFutures helps you see your differences as a strength and helps propel you forward. This program could benefit anyone and I am beyond lucky and grateful to be apart of it. It was so impactful that I am returning for the the winter session. There is always more knowledge to be gained from Carolyn and her great team.

BroadFutures is a one-of-a-kind program doing amazing work. They place young adults with learning disabilities into internships that would otherwise be out of reach. My son learned skills to succeed in the workplace and gained incredible confidence working at a major corporation. He is a happier, more fulfilled person because of this program.

As the clinical director of The Chesapeake Center for ADHD, Learning and Behavioral Health in Montgomery County, MD, we deal with many young adults that are struggling to make the transition to adulthood. We have referred many of these young adults to the Broad Futures program and have had 100% success with all of them. Each young adult has experienced success, has developed maturity and confidence, and several have pleased their employers so much that they have been hired or invited to extend their internship. Can't recommend them more highly.

As a provider in the area who specializes in working with emerging adults, I know how important but also difficult it is to find good resources to help prepare our youth for the future. The BroadFutures program has done a great job of helping many young adults I know develop the skills needed be successful in the workforce. I have seen interns receive extensive pre-employment and on the job skills training and coaching during the program that is rare to find these days, and I am very familiar with the standards of practice in these areas, as well as other resources available. I think Carolyn and her staff have worked very hard and have done a great job to develop a network of employer partners to meet their interns interests, which is difficult to do.
