I cannot recommend Artyom highly enough. Moving from Georgia to DC, I wanted someone who 'knew' the district. Artyom is that Realtor. He lives here, he photographs it (check out his social media) and he knows every street. In fact, I researched a lot of Realtors Facebook pages, and Art's is the reason I selected him as part of my relocation. We looked at tons and tons of houses in a very hot real estate market, putting offers in on 6 homes. In the end, the one I bought and call home isn't one I found online, it was one he found for me, and said he thinks I really should look at this one. He was right, and I love it! Art is direct, professional, and super efficient, and was just what I needed to make the most of my time in my search. Thanks Art! I am a 1000% satisfied customer.

Art Shmatko is an experienced realtor with great knowledge of the DC Metro area. He helped us to find the home we are planning to retire in. We gave him the task of finding a house in Annapolis near Eastport with good rental potential. Our plan was to defray costs by renting our house until we were ready to move to Annapolis permanently. He came through. We have a great rental history of quality tenants. We recommended Mr. Shmatko to a friend, and he came through for her as well.

Buying or selling, you're not going to find a better realtor than Artyom Shmatko; you'd be smart to get him and his team on your side. Having bought and sold several properties over the years, I know this from experience. Nobody has come close to Art, and I feel very fortunate I encountered him as I began my search for a condo in DC. His knowledge of the field is unsurpassed. For once I felt like I was getting a clear, honest picture of the properties I was considering, unlike with other realtors I have worked with. I wound up trusting Art implicitly. He is transparent in what he does and why, and was never impatient with my questions. In fact he is extremely responsive. He knows exactly how to maneuver around the DC real estate market for your benefit. To top it off, he has a team of supporting professionals that ensured my purchase went smoothly, and in fact saved me money on closing costs (it turned out I qualified for programs I would not have known about otherwise). My only regret is that I didn't have Art Shmatko for my other transactions.

When selling my daughter's condo, there was no question of the one person I wanted to work with, that being Art Shmatko. He did not disappoint. Always pleasant and approachable, because of his comprehensive knowledge of DC real estate, he was able to present options, suggest what would make condo most sellable and demonstrate his skills in negotiating . Sold for asking price and I can't thank Art enough for all his hard work. Would not hesitate to use him again or recommend to others.
