Absolutely the best DC tour! Small group and hits all the hot spots! George is fabulous! Very responsive and helped give us tips to get around city. Had great suggestions on restaurants etc. Highly suggest them! Great way to kick off your DC experience!

If you need a private guided tour of Washington DC, George from Sam & Sal Tours was awesome. My family and I had a 10 hour layover at Dulles and instead of putzing around the airport we decided to take a tour of DC. He picked us up on time and took us to all of the monuments dropping us off and picking us up as close as possible. He gave interesting facts and tips and even had a 10% coupon for one of the gift stores we went to. We had a little extra time at the end of the day so he took us to the Albert Einstein statue, which was actually one of my favorite things. His van is clean, has A/C and I love how great he was at communication .

Very good tour. Very informative and well done. One thing I found weird was his counting the tips in front of everyone, mumbling the amount, etc. The jar is there. That way people can give anonymously if they wish as they get off the bus, but you certainly shouldn't count tips handed to you individually or otherwise. I know he was getting off before the driver took everyone back to their hotels, but there must be a better way and it just seemed inappropriate. You can state all you wish George, from Sam & Sal's, but you're either lying about company policy or you have renegade employees doing things against policy. Yours was the company we used. Therefore, I believe the former, not the latter explanation.
