Went in for emergency tooth problem. Couldn't afford to pay for the procedure even with financial options, I still could not afford it. With insurance and a job it's not affordable. What do people who struggle do, but just suffer. So I was sent on my way with a prescription. Update 3wks since my visit, no one will help me and I'm dying with pain, fever, chills you name it. I had a cracked crown - not from Daniels Modern - but an old one. Bit into a bone, darn it. I called Daniels Modern Dentistry and they scheduled me quickly. I was not having pain but they got me in quickly. So, I showed up, shared a couple of jokes with the office staff and was attended quickly and professionally by everyone in the office. Quite frankly, I'm impressed that I can be scheduled and get a new crown in a couple of days rather than the old way of waiting two weeks for some outside verndor to deliver a crown. Nice to find a modern dentist.... Thanks Doc!

Excellent service. Yailenis was the hygienist who treated me. Very happy with his work. I definitely recommend Daniels Modern Dentristy.

Daniels Modern Dentistry deserves a 0/5 stars. I was excited to find a new, "modern" office near my work. I waited for over 45 minutes before someone brought me back to start my new patient exam. Once I was back, it took over an hour to get x-rays completed. When I finally saw the x-rays I was shocked because they were cloudy, blurry, and you couldn't even see the whole tooth/root. I thought for sure we were going to have to re-do them. Another 40 minutes went by and I thought I would be getting a cleaning done. Only for the dentist, Ivelisse Griffith to come in and tell me I have to have an intense deep cleaning and some laser treatment I've never heard of done. Along with having a new cavity. I have been a periodontal patient for over 7 years now and was expecting the deep cleaning spiel. I have also had the same insurance for about 5 of those years and I know how much the procedure costs and what it entails. I was told it was going to be just over $1,900 for something that typically costs $75-$125. I have been at the office for over 2 hours and not one tooth was cleaned. Fast forward three weeks and I got a bill for $250 after the receptionist said everything would be covered 100% by my plan today. I looked at what they billed me for and they tacked on multiple "imaging" codes that exceeded my yearly allowance for one single visit, they changed me for 4 visits of x rays. I tried to call billing for over two months and was never able to get a call back after leaving multiple messages. I have disputed this visit with my insurance company and filed a grievance so I can go to a new Dentist and receive ACTUAL service. Insurance agreed that the x-rays were not eligible for proper treatment and they discovered they overcharged me. My new dentist did not say I had any cavities and was able to help treat my periodontal issues for the normal price, without any crazy procedure. Please do NOT waste your time going here. It's a joke, they only care about money and not the patient or their needs. I wish I had read more reviews before I decided to give this place a try. Daniels Modern Dentistry, don't even try to write to give you a call to resolve this or see how you can improve your service moving forward. I've tried calling for over two months and no one seems to care about any of it.
