Quality Inn Southside Jacksonville

Had problems from the very beginning took about an hour to check in first room toilet was very loose after two days we finally get a room change only to have to move again toilet worse than room 1 room 3 thought was good till we woke up early to find German cockroaches oh I was pissed general manager was supposed to call me at 8am days 6 no call yet and y'all should be made so we can post pictures and video I have both

took over an hour to get checked in due to change in ownership resevation switched hands but money did not.second first room toilet was barely bolted to floor second room toilet was worse third room we woke up to cockroaches not palmetto bugs but german roaches general manager was supposed to contact me its day 7 no call from anybody do not stay here

I was really surprised because this did not look like a typical Quality Inn. Let me start off with the check in process, the front desk person Anthony was so friendly. The manager came down to the front and was also interacting with me, which was very surprising because you dont normally see managers just checking on the guests and having conversations about your travels. The staff overall interacted like family. The lobby area is spacious and modern. My room was gorgeous. I had a queen bed with a living room area. This room was so spacious. I dont think I have ever stayed at a quality in that had suite style rooms. The bed was super comfortable. I could tell that whoever cleaned my room cared about detail down to have my tissues were folded. I did have a slight issue connecting to the Wi-Fi, which required a trip back to the front desk but they got me connected immediately. Breakfast was OK. It was more than continental. It was actually hot items that were prepared. Lastly, there were charging stations at the property so I was able to charge my Tesla. I I was not a choice rewards member, but I will be now and Ill definitely come back when Im in Jacksonville.

First off they have roaches and the room smelt like must and bleach and extremely humid the first day here and there is no ventilation so all the scents are trapped in on singular room they are lacking extra blankets and you will be sleeping with only sheets if there is no blankets available the service is mediocre the employees are not necessarily welcoming and/or helpful but they are not rude either overall the hotel room is smelly and has roaches aside from all of that they have free food in the morning and it isnt that badafter this review if u still plant to stay here remember to be cautious of pest
