Evangel Playground

Great playground, huge area, caf is awesome although closed on Fridays last time we came so that was super disappointing. I really wish they had the area blocked off a little more so little ones couldn't run off, especially whenever there's a large stairway. You have to sign up when first coming and they'll put you on their email list for the church. You'll check out a badge to enter the play area every time you visit so the area is secure which is nice. My only true complain is the hours that they are open means that this is not available to most working families or children that attend school during the day. We visited a few times during the summer and my kids have been begging to go back, however, their hours make that impossible.

Really appreciate this play place. It's huge, safe, and clean. I can get work done while my kiddos blow off steam. Thank you so much!

Great rainy day option! Everyone was very welcoming. The cafe was was well-stocked. Probably not great for kids who arent comfortable climbing alone, especially cause its not really designed for adults to participate.

Good for older kids my 3year old is scared of most of it though since its so high. Also be aware the cafe almost always closes around 2pm so dont expect to get anything after that.

Can I rate this place zero stars? Let me say we use to come here all the time and really enjoyed the playground. We have been coming for over a year now. Well that all ended when my friends son was injured on a piece of their broken floor, that they knew about and did nothing. When I saw injured I dont mean scrapped knee. He had part of the floor stuck in his leg. He had to be taken to the hospital and sedated to have it removed. The church was well aware of this incident. Over the last days, they have been blaming her for the injury. Saying she should have realized the floor was broken and not allowed him to play. No, its their responsibility to fix the floor. Nothing was put over the broken part. There was no way warning sign. We suggested they tape it until they could fix it. Which they responded with it would look tacky to have tape there. I understand you play at your own risk, but when something is broken that could case injury to a guest. You shut down until you can fix that. Then you sure as h*ll dont blame the child and his family for getting injured. We wont be back, they need to take responsibility for this.
