I dont know what was going on but my friend and I visited and during check out the worker kept persisting on me creating an account, I said no. She said the purchase would be final sale without an account (Im not a fool, this was a lie. There is no final sale with a receipt and the items purchased were not on clearance/final sale) And then she persisted on a credit card, I said no. She asked Im going to miss out on points and I said no thank you. She mentioned something about birthdays and points, I said no. I explained I visit ulta like once a year and she kept saying I should apply for a card and get double points. She just kept asking to the point where I was uncomfortable and I visibly got annoyed with the conversation. MIND YOU, my purchase was $7. Im not sure why she couldnt understand me saying no and why I wouldnt open a credit card for a $7 purchase. I really really did not appreciate the lie, and felt I was being gaslighted. My friend also made a purchase and it was also a very pushy and odd conversation. She mentioned something about even if you get denied from the application that she would still get a gift for applying. Very very odd visit. Very confused why No was not an acceptable answer here.

Made a first time appointment with Latisha. The next day received a phone call from someone unsure as to why I had an appointment and who I spoke to. After clarifying, I came to my appointment promptly at 11, checked in and was asked to walk around and that Latisha would be there in a few minutes. I am a patient person, this was a first impression and I walked around for a half hour and nobody updated me, apologized for my time, therefore I left as I had a time schedule. I later received a cancellation of my appointment 40 minutes after it was scheduled. Unfortunate as I am a great client and take care of those that take care of me. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE
