UPDATE: We were here last year and really enjoyed it. Didnt have the best spot because we were on the main corner but we made it work. THIS YEAR was much different. Our spot was ok but the entire park has gone down hill in just one year. I was extremely disappointed in the upkeep and all the trailers that were worn down. Worn down probably isnt the right word for it. We had to look at a god awful trailer for 3 weeks. They had plants and trees growing on their slid toppers. I know people are living in it but this should be removed and not allowed. So many were just pure crap. The sites were not well kept. They need to put down rock in all the sites. I am sure a lot of people got stuck either pulling into site or leaving. Muddy mess with huge ruts. Lots of sites were not even useable. Very disappointed. THIS WAS LAST YEARS REVIEW Nice resort. Lots of things to do and beautiful!

If I could give them a negative review I would. Manager Carolyn is the worst manager, never calls back, will not answer the phone, took over 4 months of asking for a reimbursement that was promised day 1, to be told no today. Hooked up 1st day and they have a bad ground and blew out the power in our new 5th wheel. Electric company the next day and said it was bad under the ground and over 24 hours later there finally electric and air in Florida!!! Parked our Rv in a mud pit. Neighbors blocking our driveway and truck. Management will not make them move. Walked in mud every time it rains and for days after. And if you know Florida it rains almost daily. To pay full price for a trashy spot. Will not be staying again. Management lies once you leave and will not refund a part under $100 that their faulty equipment blew out.

Except no sewer at our site, no dog run it was a nice park. Can walk down to the river and hiking trails. Nearby activities: Cracker Trails Museum and not to far Solomon's Castle. Food & drinks: Winn Dixie about 10 minutes down the road and fast food places.

What a dump!!! The minute we arriverd we wanted to leave. If you have anything bigger than a pop up, be sure to bring a shoe horn. The back of a cracker barrel parking lot would have been preferable. Unbelievably tight and full of long term renters that immediately make you feel like an outsider. Run down and unmaintained. The pictures you see on the website are nothing short of a scam.Don't worry about an alarm clock because the fraught train right behind the park will make sure you're up at 7am. Avoid this tenament at all cost. Note to encore pioneer village. Save your "we're so sorry about your bad experience" response. Of the dozens of bad reviews you've gotten you would have done something about it long ago. As for the few positive reviews you've gotten, I guess it's nice to have relatives who own campers. Do everyone a favor and bulldoze this place and start a boat storage lot. It will make a huge improvement on the property. Thanks for nothing!!!.
