We hired Christine to help us train our little terror (5 month old Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier). Christine is a serious professional that knows what she is doing. She took on the little guy personally, training him every day. Always on time, amazing energy and great results! We highly recommend her. Thank you Christine for helping us out. Now Dillon is on his way to his AKC Championship!!!

We were having some trouble with our two little dogs, a dauchaund and a chihuahua..... mostly behavioral and some marking issues. We signed up for 6 visits with Christine and saw results right away. Christine was courteous and engaging. She made working with the dogs fun. It really changed our life... we were out of options with the chihuahua. Her training and knowledge helped us take control of a bad situation and we now have 2 well behaved dogs. We highly recommend K-9 Holistics!!! Laurie and Steve

Working with Christine was such a pleasure and I wouldn't likely have been able to keep my dog if it wasn't for the work we did together. When I found my dog Fiona as a stray at 9 months I realized quickly she had severe separation anxiety. I would try to crate her and would come home to find her blankets ripped and soiled, chew marks on the crate and she'd be foaming at the mouth and crying. Christine helped me see that she had anxiety around the separation and also the confinement. She creatively structured everything we did to support Fiona learning a new way. She taught me as well how to use positive reinforcement to get the results I wanted. I got so lucky to find someone who knew how to work with her separation anxiety and who had the patience to walk us both through a protocol of gradually increasing exposure to me leaving (first the room and then the house). It took a long time and Christine never ran out of patience or creativity. During this time I had surgery and thought I'd have to abandon the training and pick it up again after my recovery. But every obstacle Christine found to be an opportunity to find a creative work around. We took the extra time around the house to double down on the training, and it worked. But still the process of gradual exposure moved so slowly and I'd lose patience thinking I'd never again be able to leave my house without my dog. Christine talked me off the ledge when I questioned whether I could keep this dog because for a while it felt like we'd never get there. She came up with creative games and approaches, workarounds in the home environment, and technology add ons all of which supported Fiona and I both learning a new way. Without the guidance and help of such a talented trainer I would not have been able to believe it was possible to achieve what we did. Today, 9 months later, I can leave my house and Fiona doesn't react whatsoever when she hears the keys jingle or when I get my purse, open the door, and turn on the car. I can go to the store or see a friend or run an errand and when I come home she is calm and nothing is chewed or soiled. I'm still working up to longer periods of time, but this is a huge win and I'm very grateful.
