Mr. Feaster, We appreciate your comments and review. Now let me explain our side of this situation. 1. You dropped your firearm off with us for 2 jobs, a cleaning, and repair of the lever since it would not stay up.2. During the disassembly process, the stock of this 100-plus-year-old gun was so deteriorated that the screws were already stripping and the wood crumbling, my gunsmith did everything possible to take care of this firearm. 3. Upon completion of the cleaning and repair of the lever, you were contacted to come and verify you were happy with the lever job, you took this as the entire job was completed although you were informed both on the phone and in person that the job was not complete. 4. When you arrived at the store, you demanded to see your gun, you snatched it out of my hands and twisted the stock which was not yet secured on the firearm because it was not complete. This only further caused the stock to crumble more. You demanded we repair this and we agreed to repair the stock but at an additional cost. 5. My gunsmith repaired your stock and stopped the spreading of cracks and crumbling as much as possible. 6. Upon completion, you arrived to pick your firearm up, I had you inspect your firearm before taking payment, and you stated that it looked great other than having too little oil. I asked you if you wanted us to oil it more, and you became very insulting and said you could have done a better job in 10 minutes. You then paid in cash and left with your firearm only to take it home and choose to inspect it further. You then brought in a cleaning patch that could have been from any other gun, but did not bring the firearm in that you took it from and stated it was filthy. We do not ask for payment until AFTER our customers are satisfied. This is to prevent any issues such as this. Our entire experience with Mr. Feaster has been a nightmare. Your firearms integrity is much stronger after my gunsmith worked on your gun.
