I absolutely love this church!! The people are very nice and welcoming. They have plenty things for my children to do while I'm in service. The bishop is a well educated man of God, he has his Doctoral and the First Lady does as well. The church is family and God focused. Bishop preaches from the Bible. The church gives me a old time feel, but they are modern, you can wear pants and so goth to church, they don't mind, their focus is your soul. Also, if you want to get involved in the community, 'this is the church to do it in.

Created Light Ministries in Dallas, GA is an eclectic community of believers who do not meet strangers. I met the pastors of the church at a pastoral anniversary event. They were the main act in the praise and worship service. I have never heard now experienced such joyous people who have a good time serving the Lord through songs, sound, and praise. I am most amazed by their ability to have a resilient joy and praise in all environments with all temperament of peoples attitude. It is challenging to discern if the person with the microphone is having a bad day. Transparency is a rare find in this congregation. I am usually a reserved and guarded person. I found myself experiencing a level of comfort that allowed me to embrace my true self God. That is something I have never experienced nor knew it was possible. This church is definitely loved by many, yet there is a small church feeling in the atmosphere. They do not mind pausing routines and daily activities to pray for someone and ensure they feel loved and supported. Sometimes the church deals with impatient guests during these moments. I have seen some impatient guests embrace this safe haven when they are in need. The teaching and preaching at Created Light Ministries inspire self-reflection and the desire to cultivate a relationship with God. At first, I was skeptical about attending a church in the Overcoming Church of God of America. I did not have to change much to attend this church. This denomination recommends using the King James Version of the Holy Bible. In this church, I am able to use the biblical text that helps me understand the Bible because Dr. Bishop and Dr. Elder Walker have their doctoral degrees in biblical studies. They teach with parallel verses and focus on unpopular scriptures which expounds my understanding. On Wednesday night during Bible Study, I am able to explore my personal theology and interpretation of the Bible. On Sunday mornings, I see an inclusive group of servant leaders fulfilling divine roles.
