The Huether's have been In the Ironworks Trade and Have Always ran family owned and operated businesses since 1952! Mr. Richard Huether learned the blacksmith and ironworks trade as an apprentice in Germany before migrating to The United States after Hitler took the Huether family farm, land, and possessions, then forced our family out. The Huethers came to America on a sponsorship program, with 1 trunk of personal belongings and worked 2 years for free to repay the sponsorship of our migration and our freedom from Hitler's reign. After paying back the sponsorship The Huether Family Worked hard and opened up an ironworks business called German Ornamental Iron in the 1960's. The Huethers built a name, reputation, and community relationships for more than 30 years in the iron work business, becoming a staple in the local community, when we eventually opened a second shop called Huethers Ornamental Iron in 1999. The Huether Family has served the northwest ga region for over 70 years, providing the most experience and the highest quality in hand-built iron products. We specialize in a complete line of ornamental iron products. Our products range from driveway gates, walk through gates, handrails, spiral staircases, metal staircases, wrought iron furniture, wrought iron fence, collums, burglar bars, mailboxes, and more! Everything we do is custom built to your taste and hand made. Wrought iron is durable and will last a lifetime.
