This company engages in false advertising, utilizing a deceptive marketing practice. They send bulk, non-addressed mailers to "LOCAL CUSTOMER", stating "[We] will be doing tree work in your neighborhood in the next week or so." They don't even know to whom or where they are sending it, simply bulk batching flyers and throwing them at the USPS. How would they actually know they will be nearby? Based on another piece of mail that I received today, that one from Southern Star Tree Service in Lawrenceville, it is even more clear that they are outright lying. I find it rather interesting that the body of the text is identical on both of them, and the layout is nearly so. They are just sending these out en masse to postal customers with absolutely no knowledge of having any crew "doing tree work in your neighborhood in the next week or so". Additionally, just like I would not hire an electrician from the next state over to drive a long ways to my house for service (and subsequently charge me for the time and the miles), I wouldn't hire a tree service located nearly an hour away. Maybe their work is good, but they are getting off on the wrong foot with me.
