Sons of Savannah Walking Tours

Highly recommend this walking tour! Our guide, John, is incredibly knowledgeable about Savannah and also has deep roots in the city. Who would be a better guide than an actual history teacher? We had an awesome time learning about Savannah and its peopleand we took a (blurry) picture at the end too :D

My wife and our good friends booked Sons of Savannah. Our guide John was absolutely perfect. From the minute we started he set the tone of the walk, was extremely knowledgeable and helped guide the conversation. His personal and historical knowledge of the tour made our morning and gave us great perspective on Savannahs culture and history. The tour was supposed to be 2 hours but John took us around for some bonus sights and we were nearly three hours with him. I highly recommend Services: City tours, Private tours

Joining the first official tour with the 10th and 11th Sons was a great way to see historic Savannah, up close and personal! Stories abounded about people and events, from the distant and the near past, helping me, as a new Georgia resident, to feel at home here. Well worth it!

Kudos to John Breckenridge, tour guide for the Sons of Savannah walking tour of Savannah's historic district. The tour was very informative, enjoyable, entertaining, and great exercise too. I was especially impressed with the addition of photographs (per I pad) used to highlight certain people and places. The tour was an excellent glimpse of Savannah, past and present. What a wonderful taste of this unique and beautifully planned out city. Sons of Savannah Tour is an experience not to be missed!
