What a very sad experience. I have used Gerber in Bellevue, WA as needed for over 15 years. I just moved to the Big Island and called because my 1991 Mazda Miata (mint condition, a classic, classic car), will be needing some work after being shipped here, following a difficult situation with the container transporting it. Not only was I basically informed that my car was old (yes it is and as I said, in mint condition), but Gerber in Kona didnt really want to help me. This car is near and dear to me, thus its condition but more importantly I was looking for a place that cared about great customer service and car repair care. Some place that would help me, not insult me. Apparently that is not Gerber Kona. I am truly sorry I called.

Poor service at the counter. Wont even do an estimate unless your insurance is one they prefer.

Had a job done another shop and messed up the paint job. Went to this place, an employee came out and said... "we don't fix other shops mistakes" and went back inside. I didn't went there to get it fix for free, I was going to pay, but I just got told to go. Never referring anyone here.

Rissa is awesome! She helped me understand how to work with my insurance company in order to get the full payment for the cost of repair for my car.
