I was tired of getting skunked on the Boise so I hired Steve and he didnt disappoint. He got me dialed in on the right bugs and some good runs. Needless to say we caught fish and had a great day on the water. Steve is very knowledgeable and a really great teacher, hes also a very genuine and kind hearted person. I highly recommend Vice Outdoors and Steve Sandusky as a guide!

With Jose's guidance, our party caught a ton of fish! I learned a new fishing approach and had a great time. If you are looking for a guide on top of their craft, look no further. I highly recommend Vice!

The Vice Outdoor Crew is top notch. I took some streamer lessons from Jose, and it was totally worth it. Not only did he help my streamer game, but gave me a perspective at how to read the water. They are true advocates of the Boise River and fly fishing enthusiasts. Couldnt of been more happy with my experience.

Had Vice take my son and two son-in-laws, and myself, out on an all day trip on the Boise River yesterday. Learned a lot about the river and one of us who had never fly fished before caught fish. Actually my son's all caught far more fish than I did, which I absolutely loved. That part was great. Our guide Steve was great: Knowledgeable, Highly Attentive, Patient and Informative. We had two guides on the trip because of having 4 fishermen. The other guide was a Vice owner. He also was knowledgeable and informative, but... This could have been a Five Star trip, except that he unprofessionally spent an unacceptable amount time on his phone, not paying any attention to his paying customers. I did speak privately with him about it after the trip. I paid in full and did not ask for a discount. And, no discount was offered.
