Pioneer Federal Credit Union | Nampa, ID

I've been banking at this bank over 10 years and recently went in with a cashier's check. And I requested the cashier call the other branch where the check was written to make sure funds were going to be able to cover the check. She very snotty response to me and says we don't do that. Yes you do You've done it before it's your job as a bank to do it to make sure that if I deposit it into your account your account's not going to be shorted the money. And it protects me so I don't have any fees. So she looks up a number calls it and says oh it doesn't work it's out of service. So another numbers provided she verifies the information great. Well then I have to wait for her own branch to go ahead and do what verify the funds cuz they want to put a hold on the check. Well why do you need to put a hold on the check when you yourself just verified the funds why don't you go ahead and tell that department that you did what verified the funds. You cannot put a hold on the check that you just verified funds for. Well she is in the customer service business but she doesn't have a customer service attitude. She just keeps saying it's going to be a few more minutes it's going to be a few more minutes while I stand there for over a half hour. They have to verify the funds. She has to have another person come over and help her understand what's going on. It is ridiculous you need to be trained better on how to treat customers talk to customers and do your job because I have a lot of money in this bank and I can take my money elsewhere I don't have to deal with your snotty attitude.

Stephanie W. is a phenomenal Member Outreach Specialist! She was able to help us with a handful of things regarding our accounts and was SO easy and fasst to work with!

I have NEVER been to a branch location this bad before. The information provided is ALWAYS different and the Manager on staff is absolutely awful to work with. We have had so much miss information provided out of the Nampa branches we will be closing accounts and finding another credit union. The service is slow, the gals on shift tend to now know exactly what they are doing and every question is let me get my manager.
