        (From a mom with littles perspective) We sure enjoy the shaded short loop here for hiking with munchkins, pretty ideal to tromp and explore! Do need to be attentive with the lovely brook that goes through, places they could slide/fall in, some trickier/steep terrain for newer walkers to navigate and wish the trail were pruned back in spots with eye-level protruding sticks but its a great mix of challenge and soft path for little ones to adventure. I do wish the bigfoot statue were not here my kiddos really do not like it, it is big and has an intense face plus personally I think it detracts from the beauty of the park, but so it goes.
