Nice campground with firepits, good fishing, though i haven't fished it lately. But when we have we caught nice size small mouth bass, big carp and cats at the boat dock.

This adorable state park of ours is so quiet and filled with lush trees (summer of course), a Great Lake to fish upon, nature trails, provided fire out and bbq. And I hear an amazing disc golf set up. We have camped here 2x with the first being in the late summer and the 2nd in early spring. Summer was great and we caught lots of small mouth bass, the spring was too early and super windy. We were hoping for fresh bass to catch but alas the weather had other plans. We still had a lucky time no matter. Restrooms: Clean restrooms and showers. Although early spring the water is shut off due to freezing temperatures. There is a frost free water spigot at the dumping area. Dog-friendliness: A very nice paved trail throughout the part. Picnic area: They have a large area for group gatherings.

Gorgeous State Park right on the Snake River next to a hydro electric plant. Great walking paths with overlooks at beautiful points and good bird watching areas on the River. Many picnic tables & pavilions for events with grills. Frisbee Golf throughout the picnic area and plenty of restrooms. Mule Deer roam these grounds and White Pelicans call this home in the spring & summer. The campground sites are picturesque and close to the public launch site for boating access to the river & trail head to the Birding Trail. Home to a National Wildlife Refuge. This relatively small State Park packs in a lot! Restrooms: Many rustic yet clean restrooms dotted around the picnic areas. Note that they were still closed for season on April 24z Picnic area: Many picnic tables in shady & sunny locations plus a couple of lovely, vintage pavilions with field stone grills that are available to reserve.
