Latinx Talk Therapy

Latinx Talk Therapy was my first introduction to therapy and in my time as a patient with them I was able to work through long standing issues I had experienced since childhood that had impacted my adult life. They provided a safe place to open up about my trauma and gave me with tools to work towards accepting and loving myself. I highly recommend!

Read the positive reviews. Was super excited to get started. I love the idea of Latinx therapy and having someone to talk to that understands your culture, but no one ever reached out to me after submitting information online.

I had really high hopes for this place but what actually ended up happening is my therapist rescheduled almost 50% of our appointments at the very last minute and when I tried to switch therapists, the office just ghosted me. The lack of professionalism from this place is beyond acceptable. Save your time, money, and energy.

Its been a little less than a year since my last appointment with them. Still, thinking back I wish I had asked for a refund on my last appointment. The counselor wanted to talk about something I wasnt ready to discuss, but kept pushing. Eventually I ended up with a panic attack. I still got charged for the appointment and like I said I wish I reached out to a practice manager and asked for a refund. I started my care here looking for someone with a similar background thinking it would help but honestly it didnt. I think it takes awhile to find someone you can trust but when you come across a provider that reinforces the idea that you cant trust anyone it really sets you back. I wish everyone luck and good health. I hope everyone with the courage to seek help finds a provider worthy of their time, care, and earnings.

I am normally not the type to leave reviews for anywhere, but this review means a lot to me in particular. I have been going to this office on and off for the last 3-4 years and have seen two clinicians here. Both are wonderful and kind people, and it makes feel very reassured that this office brings in therapists with much compassion. When I was first seeking therapy, I was specifically looking for an office/therapist that specializes in issues that affect Latinx people/generational issues and upon my intake I knew immediately I was in the right place. I am currently working with Anairis and she is truly one of the kindest people I have met. She takes her time to help me to understand front an inner body and outer body perspective. As a first-gen college student, being introduced to this office has really helped to recognize my future goals and success. If you are considering this office, I would highly recommend!
