I saw Adiana after a very traumatic year in my life. Ive seen many therapists throughout my life, and Ive never had an experience like this, nor had to write a review like this about any of the past ones Ive seen. While I can appreciate a therapist who says it like it is and has a very strong personality, there is a serious lack of empathy and professionalism that Adiana entails in her therapy approach. Adiana is judgmental, condensing and rude. She offers very strong opinions and gets frustrated if you dont follow those opinions. My therapy with Adiana finally ended due to two things that happened: 1) I was late to an appointment (and had to miss an appointment the week before) due to a client meeting I got stuck at. Adiana was upset about this, and told me I should put my therapy on hold until I could make it a priority. Then she took me off her schedule and told me to let her know when I wanted to make therapy a priority. This is called Psychological Abandoment. She talked to me like I was a child that she was scolding and it was humiliating and unnecessary. 2) After she essentially fired me as a client after this late appointment, she told my husbands therapist at the same facility (and a friend of hers) about what happened with me and bragged about how she had chewed me out for missing appointments like she was almost proud of it. In addition, my husbands therapist stuck up for this behavior by saying that Adiana is a sought after therapist and doesnt like her schedule altered. This information was told to my estranged husband via his therapist (Hannah), and he would have NO way of knowing these details unless his therapist had told him. I had not shared this information with him, so it is obvious the two therapists discussed our therapy care among themselves. For the record, my husband and I are currently separated, and I did not give authority for her to share anything regarding my care with anyone. This was completely unprofessional and against my privacy rights. After these two upsetting events, I complained to Adianas supervisor about her behavior and was told this would be taken care of. Lucky for Lifestance and Adiana, Im mentally strong enough to realize this behavior from a therapist and therapy office is not acceptable nor condoned. Lifestance may not be so lucky in the future should this happen to a suicidal teenager or someone who is close to a mental breakdown, where this behavior from a therapist could permanently damage or traumatize them. Im sure Adiana will reply to this and attempt to justify her actions, however, there is NO justification that can be made for treating a patient with such little respect, empathy and overall, violation of rights and privacy for their own gain

I love my clinician here, but other than that, they have really dropped the ball. Finally I find a med management doctor that gets it, and she leaves. How do they notify me? A text stating a new appointment has been made at ____ time with ____ person. No phone call, no asking what times work best, just reassigned. Then I find a person I vibe with again, and what happens? They leave the practice. And how do they notify me? THEY DON'T!!!! The only way I figured this out is that I needed to send them a message during a crisis, and couldn't find them. So needless to say, it's not going well. Clinician is great, other aspects leave a lot to be desired.
