Blue Raven Solar

Having a great experience with getting our panels. We live in a new build and have always wondered about solar power. When Blue Raven gave us the option we were more than willing to give it a shot if it was something we could afford. Turns out it’s not just for the rich. Thomas Carter has been amazing, walking us through the steps and is with us every part of the way. Always there when we have a question. Couldn’t have asked for a better sales rep I think.

Workers that put everything up was 10 stars. But all canceling and postponing and not getting information from the company lag on for 8 months. And then they checked my credit again in December so then my credit score went down. It even took them 2 weeks to call the electric company to get my final approval so they could be turned on. So that’s why they got the score I gave them and I am being generous with that score. I would also like to to add batteries for the system when they become available

Blue Raven did a great job from start to finish. The only drawback was the length of time to get the inspections done and the electric company to finalize the system setup. Kudos to Blue Raven Solar.

While the installation and sales crew were great there were a couple of problems. The scheduling for the install was double booked, and they insisted that I had to change my time, not the other guy that was booked at the same time. For this I was supposed to be given an email showing that I would be paid for the first payment of my loan, but the email never came, so all I have is my word. Then they called again, oops... that date/time for the installation isn't going to work, we need to change it again. Once they finally got it installed, I get a document on how I am supposed to turn the system on. Why would you expect me to turn it on? Not to mention the document only tells you how to turn it on at the outside box, doesn't mention that you need to be sure that the breaker on the houses electric box needs to be flipped. So I follow all their directions and the system is still not on...turns out they forgot to have the utility company install the second meter so the system can be turned on. Not sure how long it will take to get the utility company to schedule installation of the meter. I gave them 3 stars, because the install crew was great.
