Comfort Suites Merrillville near US 30

We had to change rooms. Bed sheet had blood spots and the top one looked peed on and was ripped. Couch had white stains on both sides of cushions, found when doing check for bedbugs, no active ones or old dead. Switched us to king room so one had to sleep on couch because had three people instead of in bed. Couch only had one stain and bed one. We were handed sheets and told we can remake our own bed or take the new room. The police were called while there for a fight, 4 showed up so we had to remain in the hottub because they were on our floor. One good thing we did get to use the hot tub. The woman cleaning the front and mopping up the pool area for the evening was very kind. Will not go back ever.

The room is clean, the staff has been super friendly. I wish the hot tub had a button or something to increase the jets in it. I wish the pool had been a little warmer. but both were clean, no algae or anything in them.There is a nice selection of both hot and cold food at the included breakfast. A very nice experience.
