Like this hotel but pool has been down for a while.

So many things wrong with this hotel. The breakfast was trash,everything was cold or ran out and there messes were everywhere. I called down the first night for extra pillows and a blanket and they were all out of them,she said she could maybe find me a blanket but I would have to come down and get it since shes the only one working. The pool had so much chlorine we didnt even bother using it since just walking in burns your eyes. The carpet in the room was so dirty and frayed. There was always trash in the hallway that smelled like dirty poop diapers. The neighbors were so loud running around Im pretty sure they were having a birthday party there. Theyre was a cup of oatmeal dumped over on the table by the elevator that smells like pee for the entire 3 days we stayed. All of the garbages outside were over flowing. The conditioner was detached from the wall in the bathroom and empty. I really dont understand how it has so many good reviews It was so expensive for it to be such a bad experience. Next time we will stay at the hotel down the street.

We went here on a vacation for a week and it was far from what was advertised. Breakfast was cold and soggy. Was understaffed, hot water was almost nonexistent at night and in the morning, not to mention the pool and hot tub were always infested with people way beyond the limit of what was written for capacity.Music was constantly being blasted. Just because you want to listen to music doesnt mean that other people want to listen to your music as well. Food and wrappers littered the pool and the surrounding area. At some point, the pool and hot tub had to be closed down. We were told that the pool had to be shocked because it was dirty and that the pool ladder was broken off due to overuse. We had to go to the neighboring hotel if we wanted to use the pool. Also, the fire alarms going off on multiple occasions were not enjoyable. We were told it was because people were smoking weed in their rooms and setting off the alarms. During our stay, the fire department visited multiple times due to people smoking weed in their rooms even though the facility was a smoke-free one. I highly suggest not staying here if you don't want to be woken up early in the morning because of the fire alarms. Also, during our stay, our keys stopped working multiple times. The guy who fixed our keys clearly did not know what he was doing and was very bad at his job. The next day, the person at the front desk was much better at her job and was able to help us actually get keys that worked and not stop working after one stay. The wi-fi was slow as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT STAYING HERE!!

Gym is missing weights, broken items, and overall not maintained. Rooms feel old. Had multiple key issues and digital key never worked.

Beautiful rooms oh my goodness! The breakfast options were delicious. The seating area is fresh and airy; really elegant vibe. Enjoyed my stay; will definitely stay again. Close to great food; shopping activities; close to Chicago- just lovely. The staff was welcoming and accommodating.
