Had my first repair following installation of a full system. Air conditioner went out on a Saturday. I called Aspen and they came out same day. The technician diagnosed the problem quickly. Explained to me what had happened and when I could expect repairs. A warrantied motor had burned out. To make a long story short. I was up and running in four days. We were looking for a company to come out and do a routine check on our furnace. Ultimately, we decided to contact Aspen Aire since they installed the heating/cooling system when our new home was built. When I called, Ellie did a great job of explaining services and their maintenance plan that is available. We opted for the maintenance plan. Mike Kellar arrived on time. We discussed how we set our thermostats to ensure we were doing this the right way. He spent time going over the furnace with us and explained the correct filters for our unit, how it works and their role in helping us keep our system healthy. He discussed the maintenance plan and their services. We were extremely pleased with Mike's knowledge, professionalism, and easy way in which he communicated with us. Brand new house build and august with heating and air installed by aspen. At the recommendation of our builder and others we had a house humidifier installed and paid over $700 for aspen to install it. First time Turing on the heat was this last week and it didn’t work. A mechanic came out and plugged in a hose that had been disconnected and the heater worked and we shut it off because it warmed up outside. Last night we turned on the heat around 5:00 pm and it worked for a few hours and then quite working. I place 4 calls to aspen throughout the night saying they paged the on call mechanic and I never once received a call back. I called a fifth time and the told me to wait until 8am and there is nothing they can do for me. They advertise as being a 24/7 service and they couldn’t even get back to me or figure out another way to help. I work the overnight shift and now I am going to forgo sleep to make sure the heater gets fixed because whoever is on call couldn’t answers the phone. Also it’s all a brand new system and should work, but it doesn’t. This is beyond frustrating and not ok to advertise 24/7 and not be able to provide it.
