Stayed one night for a sport meet nearby. Haley was lovely at check in/out. Hotel was impeccably clean, our room was spacious and well appointed. Food and drinks at the Bistro were great, but Salvador was exceptional! We had a big crew and he handled everything with humor and wonderful service! Great experience!

We choose Marriott's and usually have a 5 star experience. Everyone working at this hotel was nice, EXCEPT THE manager. We checked in on Friday. Our daughter became sick Saturday. We quarantined in our room in hopes she may feel better. She was up all-night sick Saturday night. I went to the front desk at 8am on Sunday asking if we could check out early without being charged for Sunday. The manger said that would not be an issue and printed me a receipt for 2 nights. We debated staying quarantined in our room or driving home sick. We decided to check out and make the drive home to be able to get treated in our home state with our insurance coverages. We went to the emergency room once arriving home. Our daughter tested positive for FLU B. We discovered 2 weeks later that the hotel charged us for 3 nights despite checking us out for two. My husband called the hotel to see why they charged us for the 3rd night. The same manager requested documentation from the ER be emailed to share with her GM. She said she decided to charge us for 3 nights after leaving because our daughter did not have a mask on when leaving and didnt look sick. We didnt have a mask being we went on this trip healthy not knowing she would develop symptoms. This is unprofessional and was a shocked to see we were charged extra. I would have given this hotel a good rating based on the everything else. However, we couldnt believe they charged us based on how a teenager appeared and didnt even have the courtesy to call and let us know. I would double check your card statements even if you have a receipt.

Im an elite member and travel all over. Only choose this because it was across the street from the basketball game. Customer service was rude. I called and asked if we could check in early not too early as we wouldnt get to town until after noon. They said yes so we show up and they then tell me its a $50 fee to check in early. That was not told to me on the phone and she tried to argue that she had been there all day and i did not call. Wasnt worth the argument to me. Breakfast is also extra. A few guests outside when we came in were also complaining about the staff and they need to work on their customer service. This is the first marriott ive been too that after a two minute first impression we did not feel welcome. We have been thinking of going over to a hilton card for awhile and i think this was the icing on the cake to be done giving our business to marriotts. We have a lot of tournaments across the street and our team agreee we will never be back here & will be spreading the word. Nearby activities: Tournament.
