        The facility is beautiful, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and we had such wonderful experiences with the Try Scuba, Open Water Certification Scuba course for our kids, and Scuba Refresher course for my husband and me. We highly recommend Diventures to anyone curious about Scuba, snorkeling, or swimming lessons. They are amazing!

        My daughter has practiced swimming off and on at Diventures for years. She's had Naomi, JD, and now Cassie as her instructors. We are private payers. For all of the years we have been there, My daughter has participated in the open swim time, where you pay a fee, but must supervise your child. For all the years we have been there, my daughter has been able to practice 5 min before her lesson or 5 min after her lesson as long as there wasn't another lesson (before or after), and as long as she was supervised by me. Today, I was told that the rules are now changed and that isn't allowed. I feel for paying $75 for 30 minutes, a student should be allowed to practice, but I suppose the rules are the rules. I plan to withdrawal my daughter at the end of this month as $75 for a 30 min lesson and no opportunity to practice seems counterproductive to advancing as a swimmer. On the upside, I did ask the manager if someone could clean the vents last week, as the were very dirty and she did take care of that.

      Hi Laurie – We appreciate the feedback and understand why you’d be concerned about the change. Safety is our #1 priority so anytime there’s a swim student in the water, we require a swim teacher or lifeguard to be on deck. We apologize if that wasn’t followed in the past as it should have been. We absolutely want our swimmers to practice skills outside of lessons and offer free Family Swims so they can do that. We hold those every month and hope to add more later this year. We have enjoyed seeing your daughter become a stronger swimmer and appreciate your business over the years.
