We've been here several times. We love it, but they are in dire need of an event coordinator and promoter. There's just not enough adult social events. For example, this past year (Halloween). Apparently, whomever was answering questions via email on the subject didn't know what they were talking about. They told me they were having a Halloween party, then stopped answering emails when I followed up a few weeks later. It may not have been important to them, but it was an extremely big deal for us as Halloween is our anniversary. So disappointing. For that reason, we can't give the 5 stars the hotel would otherwise deserve.

Lovely. The Warrior epitomizes an amazing, quality restoration of a building that hadn't been in use for about 50 years. LOVED everything about it. Public areas are gorgeous and immaculate. (Kudos to the cleaning guy - he takes immense pride in his work and it shows.) (The Aviary is a fun feature - those little birds can get a little vocal!). The rooms are comfortable, clean and furnished with quality furniture and fixtures. The bar serves well executed drinks and the food was amazing. Not all areas are open at all times (e.g., bowling lanes, roof top bar, etc. - depends on the day of the week and busyness of the hotel) - regardless, the Warrior is a gem.
