Albert dental is great have been going with my husband for years and I recently went to the practice and fixed a couple issues in less then 30 mins!!

I typically do not leave negative reviews, but unfortunately I had a very negative experience at Albert Dental, and based on many other reviews I have seen on Yelp (strangely not on Google), I am not the first person to have this type of experience. I needed an emergency appointment for a dry socket and infected tooth extraction site, and as my normal dentist is closed on weekends, my options were very limited, so I made the appointment here. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment time (8am) and I was the first one there. Dr. Natanov and the rest of the staff arrived at exactly 8am, which I thought was a bit strange, but not a huge deal. Unfortunately it only got worse from there. I was told there was a $50 copay before Dr. Natanov could even see me. I also thought this was strange, as I have good dental insurance, but since this is an "emergency practice" I thought maybe the billing was different, so I went ahead and paid it. After explaining what I was there for, I was told it would be another $93 to treat the problem, also paid in advance. I was assured this was "very economical", even though that alone was more than my out of pocket expense for the tooth extraction itself. And the entirety of the treatment consisted of a small piece of gauze with a dab of "special dry socket ointment" and an antibiotic prescription. So I essentially got what I came for, which is the only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. The rest of the appointment consisted of a very pushy sales pitch for Invisalign. Dr. Natanov had taken many pictures of my teeth on his iPhone (probably not HIPAA protected) and insisted I start on Invisalign as soon as possible due to major alignment issues. My teeth aren't perfect by any means, but I have never had another dental professional recommend orthodontia of any kind before. He assured me it was much more affordable to get Invisalign through his office than anywhere else and strongly suggested I pay the lump sum (upwards of $3000) immediately. Obviously I declined, and at this point I had lost all faith in Dr. Natanov and his practice, as the entire experience felt like one big scam. I also question if any of the dental tools were sterilized properly, though this may be an unfair assumption. Ultimately I have myself to blame, as I was desperate for an appointment and did not research this business thoroughly enough beforehand. I do not feel it is an honest practice at all and would strongly recommend against coming here, unless you need Invisalign.
