Lou Larson Guitar Instruction

Lou is a great teacher. Ive taken a few lessons with other teachers in the area, and Lou is far and away the best. He pushes me to add a lot to my arsenal with his unique music taste and genuine curiosity about my life, interests, and progress.

9 year old has been receiving lessons for 6 months. Progressing well. Enjoys the lessons.

Lou is a great instructor. Weve been working together for several years, and it has been an amazing learning experience. Lou is always looking for teaching opportunities using the music I like to play and listen to, but also expanding my horizons and musical vocabulary with expanding techniques and genres. Be it blues, jazz, or classical, Lou can teach it all.

Lou instructed both my husband and my son for several years. My husband was self tought and wanted to refine his skills. My son was a newer player. Lou's lessons were personalized each week to acomidate each of them, their level of playing and their age. Never once did i hear a complaint about going to lessons. Lou made them fun and challenging. Both became better musicians for our experience. Having moved away we are now searching for a teacher that matches Lou's abilities.
