Señor Iguanas restaurantes mexicanos

This restaurant used to be our go to for Mexican food, but it has changed and progressively gotten worse. The servers are rude and act like youre inconveniencing them. The food, which used to set them apart from their competitors, is no longer anything to brag about. I decided to order the fish tacos(Los Cabos tacos) this time and couldnt believe what I was served. They literally brought me 3 tacos with what looked like a frozen fish plank (whole, not cut up) with a little cabbage and a squirt of aioli. This had to be the most pathetic meal Ive had in a long time. I now know why this restaurant is not packed at dinner time on a weekend. I know I am done with this restaurant!

Food was really good are waitress was on point and so was the food, I feel the food tasted authentic and it had really good flavor. All the staff was really nice.

We have been regulars at Iguanas for many years and many locations. Currently, we go to the one on Outer Loop. Our server Jesus has waited on us for those many years at those many locations too! He isalways a ray of sunshine that brightens our day. The food is great. They are always most accommodating to us, even with our sometimes odd special orders and things. Its always nice to go in and be recognized and not to even have to ask for certain things. Quality food. Fresh. Most tasty. Highly recommended. Its a nice change from the overly commercialized Mexican establishments scattered about the city. Do yourself a favor and have a visit. Also they cater. Vegetarian options: Most items can be made vegetarian, even if not.

My wife and I LOVE Seor Iguanas! For real, we compare every new Mexican food restaurant we eat at to them and no one comes close. Even "high end" places we try when we travel aren't anywhere as good in our opinion. Anyway, they closed the location we used to visit most often and we decided to order out this week from this location on Outer Loop. The young lady that took my order was Pilar and she was so sweet. I didn't realize it at first but while I was talking with some other employees while waiting for our food I learned that Pilar was actually a relatively new employee. That didn't matter though, she was obviously well trained and had a great attitude and confidence about her! We always modify our order slightly, so it's a little bit complicated, so we always check to make sure it's right before we leave when we order out and she got it PERFECT! We'll definitely be back.
