Took me a few days to think of if I should write this or not but first let me say this...I learned alot and I mean alot from Tim building trailers and I consider Mrs Amy a strong ass woman for what she does and I have nothing but respect for her but with that being said here's the bad..Joe has told me " no matter how black you are you can't wash the black off of you. Joe has come into bathroom with me and said get em boys kills his ass. Joe has made many black "jokes" and when I finally built the courage to say something they all turned it into I can't take a joke or I need to lighten up then Joe proceeds to give a meeting about treating ppl unfairly when he is the main one. Chad has put a knife up to me and said I wanna see if black ppl bleed the same while the guy that works in office laughed about it...dont know his nam but he's usually in office or riding aroubd on fork lift...they all seem to laugh about these "jokes" and turn mute mouth when things are said finally. Many blk workers have quit bc of this. No one says anything bc they all love "uncle joe" and nothing will be done. I didn't get fired but I quit simply bc I couldn't handle it anymore and after the meeting I realized this isnt the place for me. I allowed them to treat me like shit simply bc I didn't wanna lose my job and it's hard to find welding work in alexalexan. Theres alot more but thats the jist. Call me a liar or whatever idc anymore. My advice to my brothers if you go work here just smile and go about your day like your the nicest mfr alive. No one should have to deal with these things. After a certain point talking to someone about things going on is pointless bc the damage is already there. I'll remember this the rest of my life but at least this way I won't remember it alone.If anyone thinks I'm lieing contact an ex blk employee. You'll be surprised by their experiences joe has put them through. Ask someone alone that works there. A few of those guys gonna be straighforward about it
