        Although the hotel is very clean and the staff is very nice, the rooms have cottage style blinds instead of curtains. The owner appears to think that guests prefer their rooms to be bright and not dark throughout the night. Terrible blinds, and bright parking lot lights surrounding the building, will make you feel like its dawn all night long. So, if the feeling of sleeping in a tanning booth sounds good to you, this is your place! I will never return to a hotel with either aloof or cheap ownership. Who puts blinds instead of curtains in a hotel!?!? Worst sleep ever in a hotel.

        Excellent experience with this hotel and an awesome staff-nice breakfast too Rooms: Very clean and very nicely stocked and has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee keurig, sofa , desk, closet with safe, and TV. Loved it!!!

      Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baton Rouge East. Our hotel is located off Siegen Lane near I-10. We are the center for much of what makes south Louisiana truly unique and wonderful.   Our area is home to some of the South’s most interesting and informative tourist attractions including The State Capital, The USS Kidd, Tiger Stadium, Blue Bayou, Raising Canes River Center, Top Golf and local industries.
