Family trip to New Orleans for the first time.
The Kimpton hotel is nice, with a wonderful location and pet friendly. the shower had a really nice pressure but the drainage wasnt working properly that at the end of our shower we have to wash our feet. the shower curtain was dirty. The restaurant is beautiful but the band plays only until 10pm and when we did our restaurant reservation they didnt specify on that.

My partner and I had an amazing experience at the Kimpton Hotel Fontenot! We booked through The Hotel Collection by American Express and would highly recommend others who can to do so as well. We received a welcome letter outlining the benefits, a complimentary daily coffee and pastry for two, a room upgrade, and a $100 on-site credit.
Staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was beautiful, clean, and had a pleasant aroma. We dined and had drinks at The Peacock Room, their on-site restaurant. The food and drinks were good, and the restaurant was very well decorated.
The location was perfect as we were far enough away from the French Quarter nightlife, but easily within walking distance to explore during the day. Several streetcar lines also stop nearby to get to the Garden District, riverfront, and City Park.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again when we return to New Orleans!

I had the greatest experience here, I hate I didn't stay longer!
The customer service starts when you walk in the door. You're offered complimentary drinks as you check in.
The location is within walking distance to canal and burbon without being too close.
This Kimpton might be my favorite location!
