Holiday Inn Express Biddeford, an IHG Hotel

We will start with the good, because there were some wonderful things about this motel. It was tucked out of the way, the room was fairly decent, and the price for the area was unbeatable. They did have breakfast, and the pool was heated. They were also very accommodating when the IHG app was being a nuisance. Now the not so great parts of this motel. They told me to call the day we were flying in to request a late check in. We flew 3000 miles so when we finally landed in Atlanta both my husband and I tried to call a combination of 14 times in the 45 minute lay over we had. My husband finally got through as we were boarding the plane. The phone just rang over and over again. When we got there and as we observed during our 5 day stay, no one ever seems to be manning the front desk. Because no one is at the front desk we encountered many individuals just hanging out out front or in the lobby that were clearly on drugs. It took them over 24 hours to clean up vomit that was out front then tried to tell my husband it was cereal not vomit when he brought it up. This is by far the first motel Ive ever stayed in where I dont feel comfortable going barefoot to the pool because the halls are that dirty. Although they have breakfast it tastes like plastic. Overall, because of how much it costs us to come over here we will probably still stay here for the price. But be mindful you get what you pay for.

Dirty rooms.grass under the bed clothes.there were little girls clothes still in the bottom drawer. Key cards stopped working multiple times.

Staff on the phone when at work, toilet was running all the time,the shower handle was loose and came off, booked a room with refrigerator and microwave and did not have them in the room., the key card didn't work good, and the door handle was difficult usually you push the handle but this one you pull the handle. The room was small. Rooms: The room was small and had problems
