Awesome time in Maine at the Blue pearl cottage!!!

Was very disappointed. It smelled awful when we got there 2 days before the smell was gone and there were fingerprints and food stuck to the window. We had to clean. There were dirty sheets on the one bed we didnt even bother to check the other. Slept on the futons. Thank god we brought our own bedding, The view is not as pictured. Unless you sit at the dining room table you cannot see the ocean. And the building that all the rest of the windows look out to (like 15 ft away) is disgusting. Be careful if you use the railing I got a 1/2 inch splinter in my hand, A door knob fell off, and the toilet broke I had to fix it. I waited many years and saved to be able to go there I will never go there again. On top of all that she said she would refund my cleaning fee (aug 14) and I have still not seen it. This is just my opinion but i stand by what I say Disgusted and disappointed

We enjoyed several nights at the Blue Pearl last Thanksgiving week. It is in a great location right at the beach and we found it to be very warm and quaint. It was well stocked with everything we needed and renting was a breeze. We would definitely rent here again!
